ACM SIGMM eNewsletter
has now been replaced by the
ACM SIGMM Records
The creation of a quarterly electronic newsletter for the ACM SIG Multimedia community was proposed at the ACM Multimedia in Augsburg in 2007 and the first edition was published in January 2008. This newsletter was meant to strengthen the dissemination of research and inform the community about the rewards of doing research. It should also be a medium for the dissemination of other information that is important to the community.
After one year of operation, it was replaced by a new newsletter that is
- still giving SIGMM members a way of disseminating latest news, but
- integrated with the SIG's main webpage at sigmm.org,
- placed in the ACM digital library, and
- is meant for a general readership
